My team has been working on building a community program for a suite of products that we are offering. We currently have a forum style platform for users to interact and connect with each other. The split of our users between US and international is around 50/50. Our website and pages rank pretty well in English with Google in the US, but not well at all internationally. We do have a large customer presence in Japan, and our platform is localized. The ranking is not picking up because all our pages are mixed of multiple languages, and there aren't enough Japanese comments per page for the crawler to pick up. I am wondering if anyone has any experience working on an international product and has encountered this problem before?
