Our old links perform very well on Google but now we have new links. Should we continue using the old links or should we switch?

We have had our website for 18 months and we promote discounts at our partners' locations. For some partners we perform incredibly well on Google (on average, we are on the top 5 links). Our path was /partner-barcelona/partner-name

We created a new post type with new links as /discount/partner-name because we thought the word discount would help us even more in the URL but the old links are still active.

We can't delete the old page because it would lead to so many 404 Page Not Found pages.

My question is, since most of the old links work very well, should we continue with the new link or should we continue using the old link?

Will Google penalize us if we redirect all the old links to new ones?

Is there any way we can tell the same page now has a new URL?

Sorry I'm asking a lot of questions. I'm just curious to know which would be better in terms of SEO performance. Thanks
