Back in the day, everyone recommended this for trust/authority.
My site is now very established (500,000+ uniques a month), and the social profiles are established, too.
Do I really need my site to have social links in the footer on every page?
I'm thinking of just putting them on the homepage, about page, and that's it.
Two reasons: First, because I think very few people click them anyway. Second, I'm getting a trust & safety warning from Google Chrome lighthouse audit, because I guess my Wordpress theme doesn't add `rel="noopener"` or `rel="noreferrer"` to these links.
I could still put a new social widget in the site footer but I'm wondering if it's even worth it.
