Our website has been around for almost 10 years and quite on top of our niche.
In the past couple of years we have been targeted with a lot of negative seo, payday loans, viagra and similar backlinks.
At the moment when I enter our website in ahrefs there is a flood of hundreds or thousands of spammy backlinks. When I enter other site's URL, I see mostly their good links on top.
We have amazing links too but they seem submerged by the crap links.
I am pretty sure we've been targeted by other sites in our niche to bring us down.
I would like to hear from someone who has overturned a similar situation. Disavowing the links doesn't seem to do anything.
