I am a new ecommerce company. We have a free virtual event we're promoting in attempt to build awareness and our email list. I came across The Hoth and see they offer to spread your press release for $100. I was originally looking to spread the word and publicity, but they make it sound more like it's for SEO. Does anyone have info on The Hoth? Will this be good for getting the word out about my event? Will it actually be good for SEO? I really have not focused on SEO at all so it could be a good start, but unsure if $100 is worth it.
