Hey all,
Very much appreciate any advice you're able to give me.
We've got a company that offers local services such as pressure washing, pest control etc.
We're going to be adding a few more brands over the next 18 months. We've opted for individual brands per service so we can have specific memorable branding that speaks to our service offerings, rather than a very generic brand that says nothing about the services involved. It's hard to have a brand that conveys both pressure washing and 1 to 1 crochet coaching for example.
My question is about GMB listings. If we have just one for the parent brand, we can have all reviews from each brand on the one profile, hugely adding to consumer trust which helps us, once we're in a quoting phase with a lead. The down side is the listing will not be specific to an industry, so I imagine that will give us less preference in local search.
Based on our experience so far, I'm guessing we'd only be getting about 20 reviews per brand per year. Most of the businesses deal with big-ticket sales, so they're not getting a large number of clients that can provide the reviews. If we had one parent listing, we'd be able to get it to over 100 reviews within a year. The difference between 20 and 100 for consumer trust is huge, so even if we were generating less leads, it would be a great help in conversion.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
peace.
