I have a small business that is doing quite well. So far I'm ranking around 4th and 3rd position in google page 1.
Lately I've been looking into getting some good backlinks into it but I'm worried about one thing.
The pages who rank higher than me (1 and 2 place) are pages which come from high rank domains but they are kinda profile pages etc.
For example for one keyword I rank 4th, the first ranked page is from a github repository (I rank for apps).
What I'm worried about is that no matter how many good quality links ill bring, there's no way I can outrank github.com which is one of the highest ranking domains in the web (in the same category as Instagram facebook etc).
