Hello, I just wanted to make sure I have done this process correctly.
So I renamed a URL that was really long. The page was around 6 months old. I shortened the URL in wordpress and then created a 301 from the old URL to the new URL. I then fetched the new URL in GSC.
It has only been around 4/5 days since the change, is it normal that the page drops out of google entirely? Will google treat this newly named URL as an entirely new page ? Or since I have redirected it will the PA be passed onto the new URL from the old? Should I have done this differently?
