Hello all ,
So with all the new updates google throwing at us and with lots of free time , i have decided to create a new website as a addition to my current one . Current one is on a .com and new one i want to create on a .info domain . Now my website is static and is for a company that deals into certain types of product , initially when .com website was created the content that was used was thin hardly 200 words on each product page . Product page is the only way i get business and rest all pages are just a way of supplementing my company profile , like homepage , about us , contact us , tools, etc. I am planning to add content of 3000 words with more usability and readability of the content . So rather than updating .com site i plan to create a .info site , since my current website is giving me business and i don't want to mess with it .
So i have this question since leaving product pages all others will be same like my .com website and i don't want to recreate them since its unnecessary wastage of my time . What should be my strategy ?
- Recreate the pages as they are on my .com website and use the canonical url pointing towards my .com site .
- Directly link these static pages to my .com in the menu and every where .
What do you suggest ?
