First of all I hope this is SEO adjacent enough for this sub, because I don‘t know where else to ask this question.
So I‘m pretty new to SEO and I‘m probably also doing a bad job at it. But I started a blog about 7 months ago and one post is ranked #2 or #1 (depending on the phrasing of the search) on google. According to my Google Search console my entire website has generated over 5000 clicks in the last 3 months, but my google Analytics tells me I only had 1100 sessions over the entire lifetime of my website.
So my questions is: What‘s the difference between sessions in analytics and clicks in the search console? Because I assumed clicks would be visits to my site but this doesn‘t seem to be true.
