So we have a client that we want to list their company on a number of business listing and directory websites. Creating the listing, you provide the business details, one being the phone number which is then used by these websites to verify the listing. The requirements for verifying the listing (that the person creating it actually owns the company or is managing it for a client) vary, some may require the account to be verified by text, some by calling etc. So with potentially dozens of calls, the client is required to answer, and potentially forward on codes that I need to use to complete the listing.
Is it normal to request a client to be on standby to accept dozens of calls and texts to verify the listing and forward information to us?
