Requesting clarification from the SEO community out here

So guys, can you help me with this doubt.

After the recent updates to the search results page in Google, I've encountered a new feature in SERP. I am not sure if this is a new feature. (I am not able to share the screenshot here :/) So, the thing is, for two pages ranking for the same keyword under the same domain, Google has combined both pages together in the same position if it is from the same domain? (I notice the 2nd result is a bit aligned to the right)

Before this, if we have multiple pages ranking for the same keyword on the first page, they used to rank in different positions. We would also have been getting the "keyword cannibalization" error under this circumstance.

Is this a new update or something I missed :/
