Sometimes I update the content of my blog posts. I know that this is a good practice, especially if I'm honestly improving my posts. I use WordPress, so after the work is done I just click the "update" button and close the post. Should I also update the date of such posts? Does it really matter for a search machine? Or the date update works only for that the post looks fresh in the SERP?
