Hi all,
Need a bit of insight. So, i've only recently started working as a content writer, and I'm being asked by my clients to sprinkle certain keywords in my articles, in very specific forms, in order to 'nail' those keywords. So, as an example, say i'm writing an article aimed at hitting 'vanilla ice-cream' as a keyword - they ask me to include words like 'strawbery ice-cream' 'ice-cream maker,'etc., in the body of my text, in order to hit those keywords as well.
But the thing is, nothing i've read online, e.g. Ahrefs Blog, backlinko, wemrush blog, etc., says anything at all about this kind of keyword sprinkling, so i'm not sure if this is just an outdated understanding of SEO on the part of my clients, or if i'm just not up to date on SEO best practices.
Could someone please clear this up for me?
Thanks in advance!
