Hi, I'm starting to learn more about SEO but I'm curious -
Let's say I purchase an expired high authority domain with tons of backlinks. Would I be able to change the domain name to something more preferred and keep the backlink benefits? Or would I be able to redirect that domain to my preferred website?
I feel like I can't have my cake and eat it but as someone learning SEO, I'd appreciate some more (and better) info.
