As the title says, I plan to change the theme of my woocommerce website. I want to completely remake it with shoptimizer. has anyone used this theme before?
I setup a staging site and it seems to completely break everything in my current theme (porto) but seems to be a lot faster with less bloat and comes with some nice to haves.
My question is regarding SEO: currently I have a few services page that rank locally fantastic and I would like to avoid messing with it. I really don't care about my products not ranking right away. They don't really rank anyway.
So my question: If i completely remake my site but leave the pages that currently rank alone, their url is the same and their content is pretty much the same. Will that affect how google sees me overall?
Eg I don't want to lose ranking because my site was remade if the same pages that ranked before are still there? basically I don't want to affect Google My Business or the pages that rank. But want to remake the entire shop part of my site.
Does this make sense at all?
