Hi there,
I know this community covers primarily SEO but I figured someone here may have something to say about my experience with some of my design clients, after all, our target audience is roughly the same and I assume most here to do some amount of design as part of their SEO job requests.
I have worked with business of every kind providing web design and I have noticed a pattern over the years.
If I close a deal with a new client that explains he was unhappy with the results received from hiring a previous agency/freelancer/studio to build them a website, 10 out of 10 times this client will turn out to be the biggest headache, will never be happy and will have made me feel miserable in the process.
At first I’d always choose to give these individuals the benefit of the doubt but as this trend continued over time, I became more and more inclined not to accept the job requests to the point that this has become the number one red flag for me.
I’m really curious if anyone has experienced this and how they have dealt with it.
Regards.
