Google is indexing a blog page and an image that both are affecting me negatively, even though they weren’t about me - thanks to Google’s algorithm.
The webmaster has been nice about it and took down the image from the page, but did not delete it from the directory. Instead, there’s now a link to the image within the article, rather than it being right in the article copy.
Then the webmaster added ‘noindex, nofollow’ to the page meta data, which should in theory stop Google from indexing the page or any links on the page.
Will this result in the image being eventually removed from Google image search? Or will it still “see” the image and index it?
