Is negative SEO still a thing? The last year we have gained thousands of backlinks the majority coming from long url blogs, some obviously pbns.
if i no follow them around 70% of our back links will be no follow, I'm concerned google might still drop our rankings even though these links are trash.
Does any one have experience with this? I'm hesitant to resolve this in how i normally would because our niche has been affected badly by google in the last year, i also know some competitors with hundreds of thousands of similar spammy links who have not no followed and are ranking much better than us.
