For a microbloging site, how important do you think would be to add the title of the content in the URL, example:
Site,net/myblog/123456
vs.
Site,net/myblog/I_made_some_pancakes/123456
Obviously the title is already in the <body> and in the <title> of the tab.
Now I’m using the first option, the shortest URL, I think is more “share” friendly more simple, I think is better for the end user .
But I’m thinking that maybe it will have an impact on the SEO, and therefore the visits and therefore the overall profitability of the site.
What’s your take on this, do you think that improves the SEO, how much?, is it worth it? What should I do?
