How do you guys approach local SEO for service companies?

Hi guys.

I’ve been tasked with writing SEO-optimised blog content for a trucking & removal company.

I’m keen to take on the job but it’s not my field - I write content primarily for blogs and review sites. While i know what makes them tick in rankings, I don’t really know how to approach writing content for a service based company.
