Internal links duplication?

Let's say I have page with product list. Each entry links to product details page. But the entry contains 4 almost (so I can't wrap everything in single <a>) identical links: product name is a link, product photo is a link, product score is a link, product variant is a link (this link has a variant parameter in url).

Is having so many duplicated internal links bad for SEO? I can't find resources on such topic. But my SEO guy tells me it's bad practice. That is: links power goes down and I have multiple linked phrases (which devalues them). Is he right? If he is, how do I make this right (given I want to have big clickable area for users and still be able to link to different variants)?
