Linking submitted form data to Google Analytics conversions

Currently I have a client Wordpress website which uses Gravity Forms for contact us and other lead forms. The submissions of the forms are stored in the back end of the Wordpress site. Conversions are tracked using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

This all works as expected, however the client wants to understand more about the conversion data in Analytics. Specifically, if (for example) there are 10 conversions in a given day, what was the form data related to these submissions. This would then allow them to get a better insight into the quality of leads coming from different referrals / PPC / organic sources and therefore joining the dots. We can of course do this manually but I wondered if anyone had any experience doing this automatically. I thought that potentially we could send custom information over to Analytics with the submit event such as a the ID of the row in the form submission database that it links to. However, this will still require a bit of manual work to get the details of the record.

Thanks
