Different data between www and non www in GSC

Hi,

I'm currently looking at the GSC of a website of one of our clients and the data in GSC for the www and non-www version is different. When put together it is similar to what is displayed in google analytics. As usual, the non-www version is being redirected to www on the website itself.

My first thought was that perhaps the client added the websites through as an URL prefix property in GSC instead of as a domain property alas I can't seem to be able to see from my end if that is the case. Is my assumption correct? or could this be due to something else?
