Few questions on guest posting and what works best

Hi Guys,

So I've emailed about 20 websites asking if they're open to guest posting and no replies so far.

I was just wanting to know in your experience on how long a website owners on average takes to respond, or what's worked for you best when pitching site owners cold.

If it's a blogger I read about them and look at their posts and try to write a pitch that comes across not as a copy and paste but something authentic, I usually say I really liked so and so I think it would be great by following it up with this blog idea.

Some sites ask for money which I ideally do not want to be doing.

I'm pitching to the automotive industry.
