Google had marked my old (test) site as canonical instead of my new site since both were up at the same time.
Old site has been pulled down and 301 redirected to new site.
Google recrawled both and old site is listed as "Page with Redirect" but the new site still says "Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical" (I tried inserting a link tag with ref="canonical" linked to itself on the new site to no avail.)
The new site even has "referring page:old site" in the coverage description.
I don't understand why Google hasn't un-canonicalized the old site when it has recrawled it and sees that it redirects to my new site. Do I need to fix something or just keep waiting?
