Should I Use Articles in Anchor Text? (e.g. "The", "A", "Some")

Let's say I'm linking from one of my articles to another. It's an article about a new grocery store in town.

With the anchor text bolded, should it be:

1. XYZ Construction confirmed that they have begun work on the new grocery store.

2. XYZ Construction confirmed that they have begun work on the new grocery store.

I'm thinking the answer is, "it doesn't really matter"?
