I feel like I can either localize my website to the city I'm currently living in or target an industry. I'm living abroad (American in France) and so I feel the local SEO route is a bit more challenging in the sense I don't have a local network but local SEO seems easier to see some results as I could setup profiles on directories and get people to review there.
If you were a freelance web designer, would you choose a specific direction? Or would you do something else?
