I have a google search result issue that I wanted to see if anyone here can help me with.
Back in December, when I searched my full name on Google, I found some incorrect information (full name and birthdate) about me being attributed to some organization, which I have never been associated with. I requested the webmaster to remove it, and they removed it in February. Afterwards I requested for the google search links to be removed using the "Remove outdated content tool" provided by Google.
There were 2 links still showing up in Google result. The 2 links were links of other people's profiles from this organization/website. The first link did not show a snippet of the link below like it usually does with most links that show up in Google search results. The second link showed the typical description with the searched keywords (my full name in this case). However, when I clicked on the link to go to the actual webpage, I could not find my name showing up anywhere on the page.
After I requested for the second link to be removed, its status was marked as "Removed," and this link no longer showed up in Google Search results when I searched for my name. However, a couple of weeks later, I saw the same link show up again, and noticed that the status in the google removal tool was changed to "Expired." So then I requested for it to be removed again, and it was removed again, and then a couple of weeks later, it showed up again. I've had to do this 3 times, and the removal status keeps changing to expired after a couple of weeks. Why does this keep happening?
Now onto the issue with the first link. As I mentioned earlier, the first link doesn't show a quick description below the link. I requested for this link to be removed many times and all of my requests have the status "removed." But it has never disappeared from Google's search results. I've submitted the request many times for the same exact link, and all of my requests show as "removed," but I still see the link show up when I search my name. Can anyone advise?
Note that I have asked my friends to search for me from their web browsers and they see the links as well.
Is this a Google issue or an issue with the website itself? It's been over 2 months since the website admin said they removed me, so I figured Google would have recrawled the results for that website already.
